Job Description

Job Summary

Will assemble various mechanical and electro-mechanical parts or components of the air compressor or pressure tank to produce a quality product for the customer.

Principle Responsibilities
  • Repetitive assembly of mechanical or electro-mechanical components produced on the assembly line.
  • Will build quality units reasonably, keeping up with the other workers and meeting production needs.
  • Must be able to follow simple assembly instructions.
  • Will be required to cross-train jobs and rotate jobs.
  • Must be able to read blueprints and bills of material.
  • Repetitive lifting of materials and products up to 40 lbs throughout the process.
  • Must operate air tools, hoists, hand tools, etc.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Must be safety conscious, quality-minded, and of work habits and attendance.
  • Must be willing to work overtime.
  • Must be flexible and help wherever needed, possibly in other departments.

  • Lift heavy materials (Team Lift for heavier materials) throughout shift/work hours
Qualifications

Education/Experience:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Assembly line experience required.
  • Good communication skills, must be a team player, blueprint reading, mechanical ability preferred.
