Passionate about the service of Law NJ firm seeking a Litigation experienced attorney. Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Permanent Attorney - Litigation to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of civil litigation, from inception through trial or other resolution, in both New York and New Jersey. This role will involve working on a broad range of complex matters including construction law, commercial litigation, insurance law, employment disputes as well as premises and product liability cases. The candidate should have a strong desire to continuously develop their legal skills and stay updated on legal trends and developments that affect our practice. Responsibilities: Manage a diverse caseload of litigation matters across different practice areas, including construction, commercial, insurance, employment, and product liability law. Conduct thorough legal research and fact investigations to identify potential claims and defenses. Draft, review, and revise a wide variety of legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, responses, motions, briefs, contracts, and settlement agreements. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case management. Provide legal advice and counsel to clients, explaining the legal issues and possible outcomes of their case. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other stakeholders. Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends that may affect the firm's clients. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the New York and New Jersey State Bar. A minimum of 2 years of litigation experience in construction, commercial, insurance, employment, and product liability law. Proven track record of effectively managing a diverse caseload. Excellent legal research, analysis, and writing skills. Strong oral advocacy and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of professionalism and ethical standards. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills. Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
