Posting Date 11/26/2025 3000 Davita Way, Deland, Florida, 32724-2039, United States of America The Assistant II, Lab performs specimen accessioning, data entry, processing and other non-technical duties in the laboratory under the general supervision of the Supervisor. This position reports to Supervisor or Manager of Chemistry. This position does not require a registry license and may be non-technical; may be assigned to work a designated shift on day/evening/night. This position reports to the Manager, Laboratory (Lab). ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Performs specimen processing in the Chemistry department, processing and testing of specimens. Duties include: Receiving and processing of specimens Preparing specimens for testing Testing of specimens Reagents inventory Monitors daily quality control Assists Clinical Support department in receiving, and processing. Duties include: Unpack boxes containing specimens Receiving and processing of specimens Train new teammates and complete required documentation EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 0 to 2 years experience Bachelor's Degree Biological Sciences required Basic computer skills, MS Office applications proficiency required Clinical laboratory experience preferred About DaVita Laboratories DaVita Labs is a state-of-the-art clinical laboratory delivering timely, accurate lab results focused primarily on kidney care with a relentless commitment to quality.
