Why a Great Opportunity Innovative technology Significant funding Great company culture  Job Description Position Summary We’re looking for a DevOps engineer who can automate infrastructure and application deployments to cloud services. This engineer should be able to implement secure solutions in a cost effective manner. We leverage AWS, Terraform, Docker, Python and Jenkins to deploy high-performance microservices used by the insurance industry. What you’ll do: Design and implement infrastructure as code for deploying applications developed by our engineering team. Work directly with the software engineering team to understand functional and performance needs for applications in production. Automate the deployment of applications to test, production and disaster recovery environments. Perform code reviews and analysis Participate in technical design Assist all staff with infrastructure related issues Evaluate new technologies and tools needed / that could be introduced into tech stack Work closely with engineering teams and product teams to assure timely delivery of new features.. Skills / Requirements: Education: BS in Computer Science, or related field. Experience: 3+ years experience working in a dynamic technical environment, including experience building features across the tech stack. You have real-world experience building and shipping new features to customers. Technology: Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tool, such as Terraform or Cloud Formation. Experience with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Linux command line experience. Self-starter: You enjoy working out problems and can translate high-level tasks and guidance into tested, readable, high-quality code. Fast Learner: We use whatever technology fits the task, not creating tasks that fit the technology. You should be able to learn new languages/tech-stacks and apply them effectively. Team Player: You want others to succeed just as much as you want to yourself and enjoy working in a collaborative environment; working across domains to solve complex, large-scale problems.
