Validation engineer- HIL

Required Skills:
  • Understand requirements of vehicle systems, platforms, and features
  • Discuss with Customer teams and get the clarification on requirements if needed
  • Develop Design Verification Methods against requirements
  • Develop test scripts against DVMs in Python or CAPL etc.
  • Analyzing the Failed Test cases and identify where the problems are in test case, software, calibration etc.
  • Take complete ownership of the work assigned in terms of quality and timeliness
  • Ensure correct version control mechanisms used
  • Timely escalation of issues and risks
  • Knowledge of automotive sub-systems (at least one of Powertrain, Climate, ADAS Body etc.)
  • Experience in HIL validation
  • Developing tests from requirements, and executing test cases on the HIL rigs
  • Knowledge of dSpace ControlDesk, AutomationDesk
  • Familiarity with calibration Tools like ATI Vision
  • Working knowledge of Matlab Simulink for understanding and updating plant models as needed
  • Basic understanding of wiring schematics
  • Working knowledge of Python scripting
