Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Kingsport, TN team In this role you will get to be a part of a team designing facilities of the future. What You'll Be Doing: Designing electrical and communication systems Designing lightning protection systems Perform all required design calculations including lighting, load and arc-flash/short-circuit analysis Coordinating between disciplines Perform site visits to gather design data Work with a team of electrical engineers and designers Provide senior-level leadership to mentor junior level engineers Pursue licensure in other states to support department and company growth What Required Skills You'll Bring: Professional engineer license is required (or current FE working towards PE). Bachelors degree in electrical engineering. 8+ years experience. Experience with design of building electrical and telecommunication systems What Desired Skills You'll Bring: CAD/Revit experience is a plus SKM/ETAP experience is a plus Advanced degree is a plus RCDD certification is a plus Security Clearance Requirement: None This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
