Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Special Procedures Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 02/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Technician - Special Procedures Job Details: • Perform specialized radiographic procedures under direction and supervision of radiologist/physician • Perform general diagnostic procedures as required • Execute radiographic diagnostic/interventional special procedures following and verifying referring provider's orders • Use independent judgment and apply learned methodologies according to established policy and procedures • Educate patients and families regarding procedures and treatments to be performed • Produce high quality images and prepare/present them with pertinent patient information for timely interpretation • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation • Perform and evaluate equipment quality control measurements • Troubleshoot equipment issues and notify appropriate personnel to maintain equipment performance • Maintain safe environment for patients, personnel, and visitors while adhering to radiation safety policies • Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of supplies and materials to ensure non-interruption of service • On-call schedule: Every third weekend, with additional weeknight call responsibilities • Weekend work required • Required qualifications: Cath lab experience, AHA BLS certification, successful completion of Radiologic Technology program • Must be registered as a Radiologic Technologist with one year related job experience • Skills checklist completed within one year of application preferred Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center providing advanced diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology services.
