Senior BESS Engineer (Battery Energy Storage Systems) Amica Talent is partnered with a national, top-tier engineering firm that has been voted a Top Workplace by the Denver Post for four consecutive years . They're looking for an Principal Engineer (BESS SME) to take on a high-impact role leading technical standards, mentoring teams, and driving innovation on complex Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
Base Pay Range $125,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr

What you'll do: Act as a subject matter expert on high-profile BESS projects.
Lead QA/QC, enforce best practices , and mentor junior engineers.
Oversee detailed design reviews for BESS systems, including layouts, single-line diagrams, and power system studies.
Ensure projects meet the highest standards in safety, quality, and performance .
Stay ahead of industry trends and help shape technical direction.
What we're looking for: 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering or BESS-related projects.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, PowerFactory, ETAP, CYMCAP, and MS Office .
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.
