Position Overview:
Our client is a leading Commercial Electrical Company in Central Florida. They pride ourselves on fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and growth.

The Commercial Electrical Field Superintendent will be responsible for organizing, supervising, and executing assigned projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role involves coordinating with Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and company leadership. The position is 20% office-based and 80% field-based, requiring a combination of hands-on work and team supervision.

Compensation:
Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $62,000 to $72,000, commensurate with your experience, education, certifications, and skill set. This reflects a strong commitment to attracting top-tier talent for this pivotal role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Plan, organize, and supervise all project phases, from preparation to execution, while maintaining cost and quality objectives.
  • Field Oversight: Perform hands-on electrical installations and oversee team activities on-site as required.
  • Documentation: Complete project documentation, including daily reports, material requests, change orders, and safety reports, using company software and portals.
  • Team Coordination: Lead field staff, ensure adherence to quality standards, and manage project schedules in alignment with expected timelines.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, general contractors (GCs), and internal teams to build strong relationships and address project needs.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure safety protocols are followed and promote company policies in the field.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and control project budgets, attending monthly job cost meetings and ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve field issues promptly to minimize disruptions.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of verifiable Commercial Electrical Supervisory experience, including oversight of multiple projects.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient knowledge of NEC and Florida Building Codes.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Trimble Accubid.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project documents.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to plan 2-3 weeks ahead and manage material, equipment, and manpower needs.
    • Team-oriented with a positive and respectful attitude.
  • Certifications: Journeyman certification is preferred.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
    • Ability to pass background and drug tests.
    • Availability to travel as needed.
