Job Overview:
Seeking an EHS Manager to oversee compliance programs, ensuring regulatory adherence, employee safety, and environmental protection. This role fosters a strong safety culture and drives sustainability initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Manage and improve health, safety, and environmental programs.
Serve as Biological Safety Officer and oversee emergency response teams.
Ensure compliance with air emissions, wastewater, hazardous materials, and OSHA regulations.
Promote safety and sustainability initiatives.
Act as the key liaison for business partners and conduct audits.
Qualifications:
Preferred Certifications: CSP, CIH, CHMM, or equivalent.
Experience: 8-10 years in EHS, with 5+ years in technical roles and 4-6 years leading projects.
Skills: Regulatory knowledge, leadership, communication, problem-solving, and ability to lift 35 lbs.
