We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Program Supervisor to provide leadership and support to our residential staff. In this role, you will empower individuals impacted by homelessness, psychiatric diagnoses, trauma, and addiction to achieve their recovery and rehabilitation goals. You will guide staff with a strengths-based approach that fosters growth and resilience, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered support. This position involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the program, training staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a supportive environment for participants.

Working Schedule:

Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm

Key Responsibilities
Supervisory Duties

  • Lead, train, and develop a team of residential stabilization specialists, ensuring adherence to agency, state, and federal policies.
  • Facilitate individual and group supervision sessions, providing feedback and support to enhance staff autonomy and performance.
  • Oversee the corrective action and performance evaluation processes, ensuring staff accountability and growth.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and document discussions to maintain clear communication throughout the program.
  • Collaborate with HR for staffing needs, ensuring proper scheduling, hiring, and onboarding of new team members.
Administrative Functions
  • Oversee program documentation (contact notes, rehabilitation notes, medication logs, daily logs, and Individual Action Plans) for compliance and accuracy.
  • Manage and collect room and board fees efficiently.
  • Ensure smooth communication between disciplines supporting participants, including medical professionals and external service providers.
  • Approve and submit timesheets, program reports, and other required documentation within established deadlines.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, providing guidance and support as needed, and promptly notifying senior management of critical incidents.
  • Manage program budgets, ensuring adherence to fiscal guidelines and proper handling of participant funds.
Participant Support, Advocacy, and Wellbeing
  • Guide staff in supporting participants through advocacy, daily living skills, and community integration.
  • Model high-quality support during interactions with participants, promoting self-advocacy and empowerment.
  • Facilitate access to community resources, educational opportunities, and support services.
  • Support participants in managing triggers, engaging in activities of daily living, and coordinating medical appointments.
  • Ensure regular psycho-educational groups and house meetings, fostering a trauma-informed environment.
  • Monitor participants' health, medication administration, and documentation in collaboration with nursing staff.
Teamwork and Professional Development
  • Actively participate in division and supervision meetings to enhance collaboration and program effectiveness.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development through additional training to expand job knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain a positive and cooperative atmosphere with colleagues, prioritizing participant needs and program goals.
  • Use constructive feedback to continually improve professional abilities.
Safety and Compliance
  • Maintain a safe environment by addressing safety hazards, reporting accidents, and adhering to agency safety policies.
  • Respond promptly to medical and psychiatric emergencies, ensuring participant and staff safety.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills Required
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take initiative in a team setting.
  • Strong oral, written, computer, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to participants' changing needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patient demeanor.
  • Prior experience in trauma-informed care, particularly with women, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HUD regulations, operational guidelines, and tenancy laws.
  • Experience in building supportive communities in diverse, residential settings.
  • Valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle during work hours.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Minimum: Two years of experience working with individuals impacted by homelessness, psychiatric conditions, trauma, or addiction, with progressively responsible roles.
  • Education: Either a college degree OR at least four years of relevant experience demonstrating increased responsibility.
  • Preferred: Experience in a residential community setting and prior supervisory experience.
  • A college degree is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Frequent use of hands for typing, writing, and handling materials.
  • Occasional physical activities including climbing stairs, kneeling, and lifting items up to 40 pounds.
  • Visual acuity for reading documents, identifying color distinctions, and general visual perception.
