Some Typical Duties & Responsibilities Include: The hourly base rate of pay for this internship starts at $18.00, and may increase based on major and class standing. Under the supervision of the SPD Deputy Project Director, the job duties will include: Attend project meetings on cost and schedule performance. Review and prioritize scheduled activities of work scope, walkdowns, material procurements and work plan approvals. Perform walk-downs of the project site. Assist with development of project metrics, reporting, and presentations. Assist Control Account Managers on monthly status updates, reporting, variance analysis, and change control preparation. Required Qualifications Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5. Must be a full-time student at an accredited four-year college or university, or within one year after finishing a degree program. Must have completed freshman year of college. Must successfully complete Savannah River Site General Employee Training and substance abuse processing. We'd Also Like to See Must have completed sophomore year of college Security Clearance Information SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance.
