Detroit Aggregate Trucking is looking for a Fleet/Heavy Equipment Mechanics to perform maintenance on our fleet of Class 8 trucks and construction equipment.

***New Mechanics Welcome / Willing to Train / Must have own set of tools ***

Responsibilities Include:
  • Repair diesel trucks, trailers and heavy equipment in a timely and efficient manner
  • Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper working condition
  • Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery
  • Repairing and troubleshooting of major components such as engine, transmission, and differentials
  • Tire repairs/ Landing gear repair
Job Requirements:
  • Basic set of tools (required)
  • Experience working on hydraulics, concrete mixer trucks, gravel train equipment and diesel trucks is a plus
  • Experience working on heavy equipment such as loaders and excavators

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
