We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Permanent Survey Crew Chief. This position plays a pivotal role in our construction projects, ensuring accurate and detailed land surveying to guide our construction processes. The successful candidate will be part of a vibrant and fast-paced environment where precision, problem-solving, and a keen eye for detail are paramount. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Survey Crew Chief, you will have a wide range of responsibilities, including:

1. Conducting detailed land surveys for construction projects, using a variety of modern surveying equipment and technology.
2. Supervising and directing the activities of the survey crew, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
3. Interpreting construction plans and specifications to create accurate and detailed survey reports.
4. Managing the maintenance, calibration, and correct operation of all survey equipment.
5. Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure accurate project execution.
6. Resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the surveying process.
7. Keeping detailed records and reports of survey data, including sketches, maps, and descriptions.
8. Ensuring that all survey work is completed within project timelines and budgets.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Survey Crew Chief position will have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying, preferably in a leadership role.
2. Extensive knowledge of modern surveying equipment, techniques, and technology.
3. Proven ability to interpret construction plans and specifications accurately.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
8. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in the construction industry.
9. A degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as civil engineering or geomatics, is preferred.
10. Certification or licensure as a Professional Land Surveyor is an advantage.
