*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood development and possess strong leadership skills to guide classroom activities and curriculum implementation. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's learning experiences, particularly in inclusive and specialized education settings. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment that promotes growth, learning, and development for children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or developmental delays. This position is integral to fostering a positive educational atmosphere that supports both children and staff. *Responsibilities* * Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and behavioral health strategies. * Manage classroom environments effectively through strong classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. * Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of children with autism, developmental disabilities, or those requiring early intervention services. * Collaborate with speech therapists, behavioral therapists, and other specialists to support students' IEP goals and learning plans. * Utilize learning technology and innovative teaching tools to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. * Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and inform instruction. * Support childrens social-emotional development through positive reinforcement and child welfare practices. * Maintain detailed documentation of student progress, behavior reports, and communication with parents or guardians regarding child welfare and development. * Supervise assistant teachers or classroom aides, providing mentorship and guidance in instructional strategies and classroom management. * Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including those related to working with children with disabilities or special needs. *Skills* * Strong classroom management skills with experience in behavior management techniques. * Expertise in curriculum development across early childhood education, preschool settings, Montessori methods, or private school environments. * Experience working with children with autism, developmental disabilities, or in early intervention programs. * Knowledge of speech therapy techniques, literacy education, math instruction, and physical education tailored for young learners. * Familiarity with IEP development and implementation processes. * Ability to utilize learning technology effectively within an educational setting. * Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, staff, specialists, and community partners. * Experience in teaching children from diverse backgrounds including toddlers, preschoolers, or students requiring special education services. * Background in behavioral health practices and behavioral therapy approaches suitable for young children. * Childcare experience including daycare or early childhood programs such as Head Start or private preschools.
