General Construction Superintendent

SUMMARY Eagle Eye Electric, a company within the BSNC family, is currently seeking a local and qualified General Construction Superintendent IDIQ Task Order type contract The Superintendent is directly responsible for the safe and efficient execution of the project and will be onsite for the duration of the projects. This includes implementation of the project plans as well as project oversight and coordination with the project team. This position requires a close working relationship with the Project Manager, Site Safety & Health Officer, Foreman, and Quality Control/Quality Assurance Manager (QM), as well as other project team members. The Site Superintendent must have at least 3 years of applicable experience on projects involving civil construction, railroad, utilities, infrastructure, etc. The Site Superintendent is required to possess the ability to prepare written technical reports, covering all aspects of construction activities; ability to track site costs on a daily basis; ability to manage and ensure proper execution of multiple simultaneous subcontracts and/or vendors of varying types and complexity; ability to track site costs routinely; demonstrated ability to mediate with tact when dealing with customers. Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Hires and supervises direct reports. ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results.
