TALLAHASSEE STATE COLLEGE ELEMENTARY EDUCATION ASSISTANT PROFESSOR Bachelors Degree Program Tallahassee State College is a dynamic and growing comprehensive community college located in Tallahassee, Floridathe Colleges 2022 fall enrollment had more than 10,000 students. Faculty responsibilities include instruction, curriculum, service and support of college policies and procedures, and professional development. Starting salaries for instructional faculty positions are competitive and commensurate with degrees and experience. ELEMENTARY EDUCATION ASSISTANT PROFESSOR Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree (Doctorate preferred) in elementary education. Or a masters degree in early childhood education, educational curriculum development, and/or field related to education and instruction plus 18 graduate semester hours in elementary education. Must hold a valid Florida Professional Educator Certification(s) (Not endorsements) in one or more of the following: Elementary Education (K-6), Reading (K-12), English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Exceptional Student Education (K-12), and/or Reading (K-12). Must have completed at least 3 years of successful, relevant prekindergarten through grade 12 teaching, student services, or school administration experience.
