We are seeking a Diesel heavy duty Technician / Mechanic to join our service team here at Downtown Ford. We are a busy dealership with a steady flow of work. Diesel Mechanic experience required. We are offering a sign-on bonus, pay will depend on experience.Diesel Technician Responsibilities:Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning and transmission.Perform quality inspections of vehicle to identify necessary and recommended repairs.Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipmentCommunicate directly with the service advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.Execute repairs to proper specifications.Maintain a clean working environment. RequirementsAutomotive Diesel Technician Qualifications:Diesel Technician/Mechanic experience requiredFord experience preferredHigh degree of mechanical aptitude with a focus on efficiencyEffective oral & written communicationComprehension of safety & policy practicesMust have a valid driver's licenseProfessional and dependable Safety and customer service oriented Basic computer and internet skills Salary / Pay: $38,000 - $46,000/Annually Salary Description 38,000.00-46,000.00
