Drum, Loyka & Associates, LLC is a growing, fast-paced Civil Engineering and Land Surveying company located in Annapolis, Maryland. We are looking for a qualified full-time Project Engineer experienced in site engineering design for residential, commercial, and industrial land development projects. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and proficiency in latest version of AutoCAD. Competitive compensation and benefits. Salary range $70,000 - $120,000. Please email cover letter and resume to info@drumloyka.com. Responsibilities: Assist the Project Manager in day-to-day project oversight. Prepare site layout plans, grading plans, utility plans, and stormwater designs. Perform engineering calculations (hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater management, utility sizing, etc.). Develop Erosion & Sediment Control plans. Attend client, internal, and jurisdictional meetings and prepare meeting minutes. Prepare and submit permit applications (grading permits, stormwater, NOI, right-of-way, utility connections, etc.). Prepare technical narratives and stormwater reports. Work with environmental consultants, geotechnical engineers, and traffic engineers. Perform site visits to check progress and compare work to design documents. Communicate technical questions, schedule updates, and deliverables to clients. Coordinate with architects, landscape architects, and other engineers. Assist with preparing as-built or record drawings.
