We are currently focused on finding candidates from Singapore, Australia, Chile, Canada, and Mexico for L-1 and E-3 visas, but also open to H-1B visa transfers from anywhere with a current H1-B visas. Job Description Our client has engaged us to recruit Accounting Auditors worldwide for their office in Portland, Oregon. The firm has been hiring Americans, but the need for Auditors has become so strong in the USA that they have opened their recruiting worldwide. Audit roles would initially be based in Portland, Oregon, but they may have opportunities in 4-5 years in other U.S. cities such as Irvine, San Diego, Portland, and Seattle. Salaries depend on experience but targets are listed under the job titles below. For international candidates the firm will provide and pay for all visa support and costs and provide relocation assistance to Portland, Oregon. They are accepting candidates for H1-B, L-1, E-3 and TN visas. The countries with current US Treaties and offering the best opportunities for visas include Citizens from Australia, Singapore, Chile, Canada and Mexico. Also, current H1-B holders eligible for visa transfers from anywhere are encouraged to apply. Qualifications Audit Manager $110,000 - $140,000 Our audit managers oversee the audit engagements including planning and executing the audit, supervising staff and senior accountants, and building and maintaining client relationships. KBF managers proactively supervise staff, projects, budget and deadlines, ensure technically accurate products and high-quality deliverables are presented to client, develop client relationships, build an understanding of client businesses, help develop and guide staff while building on their technical competence. Our managers are also involved in firm leadership through recruiting and training. Responsibilities: Manage projects to ensure completion within budgetary and time constraints while providing a high-level of client satisfaction Ensure timely and effective communication with client and firm personnel and keeping team members informed of work status and proactively seeking opportunities to provide additional service to existing clients Build client relationships and demonstrate understanding of client’s business and processes Participate in the mentoring and development of team members Help to develop and guide staff by providing effective performance feedback and ensuring team responsibilities are consistent with skills and developmental goals Be actively involved in and a positive influence on team recruiting, development, training, and retention Provide leadership through example, including adhering to firm policies Build on technical competence and stay up to date on trends and developments in client industries Demonstrate professionalism through a positive and cooperative attitude and maintaining the confidential nature of client relationships and related work products Contribute to the overall success of the team by developing a thorough understanding of KBF methodologies and tools to enhance service delivery Effectively manage firm resources including professional staff and firm assets Recognize opportunities to Assist in firm administrative functions as assigned by the Partners Qualifications: Minimum of five years of public accounting or equivalent experience and have obtained the title “senior accountant” or similar designation Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university and an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license Exhibit technical proficiency in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting Demonstrate the ability to supervise a team of professionals and complete audit engagements, Be a motivated and quick learner, possessing strong communication skills and professionalism Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Proficiency with Microsoft Office products Senior Audit Accountants $75,000 - $100,000 As a senior accountant on the audit team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects throughout the year to help build and develop a range of invaluable skills and experience, as well as build collaborative and supervisory skills. The audit team's collaborative, fast-paced, and dynamic environment offers senior accountants the opportunity to work with both high caliber team members and top-tier clients while maintaining a small firm atmosphere. Responsibilities: Continue development of personal technical skills and begin to develop proficiencies with GAAP reporting Maintain strong client relationships and provide effective communication Understand and apply relevant auditing techniques, procedures, and requirements Initiate, monitor, and deliver assigned compliance services timely and accurately Proactively manage timelines and communicate with managers and partners Help develop and supervise staff team members in firm policies and procedures and technical and professional training Be successful in multi-tasking by handling various projects simultaneously by managing workloads prioritizing, planning, and delegating tasks where appropriate Display and promote team mentality and positive working environments for all peers Qualifications: Have a minimum of two years of experience in a staff level position or equivalent experience Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university Completion of, or are in the process of meeting, the requisite requirements to obtain CPA licensure Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Audit Staff Accountants $65,000 - $74,000 Our staff audit accountants are an integral part of our audit team. Audit staff proactively handle day-to-day deadlines and project work in a team environment, communicate efficiently across all levels of the team, build proficiency in technical research and documentation, continue developing a command of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting, and grow the skills needed to continue to advance in the profession.
