Sales Administrator - Beer and Beverage Distributor West Nyack, NY (Rockalnd County) We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our team at a fast-paced beer and beverage distributorship. This role provides crucial support to the sales department, ensuring smooth operations, accurate reporting, and efficient execution of sales strategies. Responsibilities Sales Operations & Support: Assist with ordering, monitoring, and distributing Point of Sale (POS) materials. Generate and analyze sales, distribution, and profit reports using Encompass software. Ensure accuracy by double-checking pricing, taxes, laid-in costs, and rebates. Contribute to various Encompass projects and data cleanup initiatives. Collaborate with the warehouse team on issues such as out-of-code (OOC) products, close-coded inventory, returns, repackaging, and breakage control. Monitor customer delivery minimums and the frequency of deliveries per week for customers and geographical areas. Financial & Budget Management: Control and monitor sales-related budgets. Support the creation, monitoring, and scoring of sales incentive programs. Marketing & Sub-Distributor Coordination: Work closely with the graphics department to ensure the availability and utilization of correct signage and rebates in the market. Provide support to sub-distributors, including coordinating meetings and managing VIP reporting. Qualifications Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting. Experience with Encompass software or similar ERP/WMS systems is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with internal teams, suppliers, and sub-distributors. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Understanding of sales administration processes and basic sales knowledge preferred.
