CD Companies has openings for a non-licensed Architectural Designer with 5-10 years of experience in Commerical Architecture. Candidate must be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Architectural experience producing commercial design drawings and familiarity with various commercial construction approaches is necessary. *Responsibilities * * Prepare/Create AutoCAD or REVIT drawings for permitting/bidding/construction use * Create Revit models to produce floor plans, finish plans, ceiling plans, elevations and perspective views * Prioritize projects based on deadlines established * Communicate with client by providing reasonable solutions, recommendations, and technical information * Coordinate and integrate design with engineering disciplines for a complete set of design documents * Occasional travel for periodic on-site observation, jurisdictional meetings, or facility surveying * Review of shop drawings and construction administration activities * Mentorship of junior staff members *Qualifications * * 5+ years experience working in an architectural design capacity on commercial design projects. * Education requirements: On-the-job drafting/designexperience, or an Associate Degree in Design/Architecture, Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, or Master’s Degree of Architecture * Strong attention to detail, drawing coordination and quality control * Revit knowledge and/or CAD experience * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite * Strong interpersonal communication skills * Strong work ethic and passion for design and construction Ideal candidate will take ownership of assigned projects and ensure the design is completed with accuracy, quality, and in a timely manner.
