Career growth and development Diverse and collaborative working environment Affordable and comprehensive benefits package General Summary: The therapist is responsible for providing therapeutic recreation to patients in the in-patient rehabilitation program in JBCC. Works as part of the inter-disciplinary team to assist patients achieve the highest level of functioning possible . Minimum Qualifications: Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy and six months of previous experience in rehabilitation setting. An internship with a concentration in rehabilitation preferred. Certification from the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC) required. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
