Williams & Associates, PC has an outstanding opportunity for an attorney to become a part of an award winning team within a plaintiff’s personal injury firm, in historic downtown Decatur, GA. The position is geared toward an ambitious attorney who is goal driven and devoted to the needs of our clients. The new attorney should be experienced in settling cases, demand preparation, excellent brief writing, arguing motions, and litigation.The attorney must, also, have a passion for personal injury and tort law and will be expected to appear in court on occasion. This role has an opportunity for advancement and comes with a robust benefit package, and competitive salary starting at $65K+ annually and bonuses. Do you have the following skills, experience and drive to succeed in this role Find out below.Qualified Attorneys must have:- Juris Doctorate and be an active member of The State Bar of Georgia;- Three (3) plus years of plaintiff litigation (required);- A stable work history, relevant experience, and be personable as well as professional;- Excellent research, oral and written skills with experience drafting complex demands and settling PI cases;- Courtroom experience as first (preferably) or second chair jury trial experience;- Ability to handle a large volume of cases;- Proficient experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat;- Clean background check.- Live near the Decatur, GA area or be willing to commute to the local office daily.
