Lab Support Technician

We are passionate and excited about how we can develop and utilize new technologies to shape and inspire changes within an ever-growing marketplace. As our business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a Lab Support Technician to join our team.

You will be responsible for providing support to the Croda Alabaster Research Manufacturing team by providing day-to-day operational support in the laboratory.

What You'll Be Doing:

Be part of a team that values diversity, sustainability, and continuous innovation, where your ideas and contributions matter.

•Distribute solvents and bulk raw materials

•Perform preventative maintenance on equipment

•Perform packing and tearing down of chromatography columns

•Perform labware cleaning

•Perform facility cleaning

•Compressed gas cylinder replacement

•Transfer laboratory wastes to collection areas for disposal

•Maintain raw material inventory

•Log incoming/outgoing raw materials

•Perform upkeep of training records

•Lab supply stocking and management

•Comply with laboratory safety procedures

Who We're Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a laboratory environment preferred
  • Ability to maintain laboratory equipment
  • Understand the importance of following safety procedures and the correct use of PPE
  • Computer knowledge preferred
  • Must have oral and written proficiency in the English Language
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Attention to details, computer skills, work standards, teamwork
  • Ability to stand, walk or sit for a minimum of 8 hours a day
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
