Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager (Level K) to support out F/A - 18 SLM team in Berkeley, MO. The Manufacturing Operations Manager is an exciting opportunity to manage, develop, and motivated a high performing team of employees on the F/A - 18 Service Life Modification (SLM) Program. Position Responsibilities: Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Manages, develops and motivates employees This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3+ years' experience in a leadership role leading multi-disciplinary teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change 3+ years' experience working with or supporting military aircraft 5+ years' experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience with F/A-18 maintenance operations F/A - 18 Retrofit experience or fleet support Experience managing with collective bargaining agreement and/or a union-represented workforce Bachelor's degree or higher Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies .
