The ideal candidate will have a strong background in representing plaintiffs in personal injury protection claims, with a proven track record of managing a high-volume caseload, negotiating settlements, and litigating cases through trial when necessary. *Key Responsibilities* * Represent clients in PIP-related litigation, from case inception through resolution. * Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents. * Attend and conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials. * Evaluate case value and develop litigation strategies tailored to each client’s needs. * Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and insurance companies. * Maintain accurate case files and documentation in compliance with firm standards. * Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management. *Qualifications* * J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in the State of Michigan, in good standing. * 1–10 years of experience handling PIP plaintiff cases. * Strong knowledge of state-specific PIP laws and procedures. * Excellent litigation, negotiation, and trial skills. * Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently. * Strong organizational and time-management skills. * Commitment to client advocacy and achieving favorable outcomes. *Preferred Skills* * Experience with legal case management software. * 2 + years of experience in auto law preferred. * Familiarity with medical terminology and billing practices. *Why Mike Morse?* * A team-first culture with passionate attorneys and staff * Competitive compensation and full benefits package * Ongoing professional development opportunities * Hybrid work environment and flexible scheduling * The opportunity to make a real impact on Michigan law Ready to fight for justice from a higher court?
