A large University client of Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their Facilities Planning and Development team in Kansas. This individual will be responsible for providing project management and engineering support on a wide range of capital facility projects including both new and existing construction. Typical project types are renovations, interior and exterior lighting, building electrical service entries and distribution systems, site electrical infrastructure and new construction. This role involves collaborating with strategic leaders on campus master planning, overseeing diverse design options and construction documents. The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple projects, excellent communication skills for working with various stakeholders and contractors, a background in project construction, and strong expertise in electrical design, code requirements, and safety.

State of Kansas, Licensed Professional Engineer
AutoCAD experience
Experience working in a construction administration role
Knowledge of medium voltage electrical systems
Experience managing the design and/or construction of university, college, educational or governmental facilities.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering OR Architectural Engineering
Must be an EIT or a PE
2 - 5 years of experience being an Electrical Engineer in a facilities / building based role
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
