Hoofbeats with Heart has a proven track record of effective therapies based on our amazing team of therapists. Hoofbeats with Heart is the only equine therapy center in the East Valley to offer all four Equine Assisted Activities and Therapy (EAAT) services recognized by PATH (formerly known as the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association) to individuals living with a variety of physical and emotional disabilities. Services offered at Hoofbeats with Heart are: * *Therapeutic Riding (TR)* * *Hippotherapy (HPOT)* * *Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL)* * *Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy (EFP)* We currently have an openings for full or part-time *Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant's* (COTA) who want to be part of a dynamic, professional, and innovative team. We provide services to our clients in Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, Queen Creek & San Tan Valley. Our therapists can provide in home health therapies or conduct equine assisted therapy or aqua therapy at the Ranch, located in San Tan Valley. We work with our therapists to offer a flexible schedule in order to provide lifestyle balance. * Full and part time available. * Flexible scheduling. * Full Benefits available to employees with 30 hours or more. * Continuing education for hippo (horse) therapy available. * Exciting forward thinking work environment with supportive team. Occupational therapy assistants help individuals develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working. Occupational therapist assistants work under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist to assist with an individuals treatment program. Ultimately, they provide therapy to individuals and perform support activities.
