We are looking for a skilled, resourceful, and collaborative Civil Project Engineer to join our team in Denver, CO. The Civil Project Engineer will work closely with a team of staff engineers and scientists on challenging and exciting design and construction projects. This is a fast-paced and dynamic position, with opportunities to be challenged, contribute to project outcomes, interact routinely with project Principals, and grow professionally.

Essential Functions-What You Will Do

  • Use AutoCAD Civil 3D as a design tool to: (i) prepare engineering drawings and related graphics; (ii) perform calculations; and (iii) integrate with other engineering software.
  • Use engineering software to prepare calculations supporting: (i) stormwater management, hydrology, and drainage designs; (ii) slope stability evaluations; (iii) and other design projects.
  • Assist with the preparation of technical reports, data tables, specifications, and other deliverables.
  • Provide construction quality assurance services and other field services on construction projects.
  • Prepare documentation detailing construction observations.
  • Perform environmental sampling and data analysis, including the collection of air, water and soil samples, and in-situ testing of these media.
  • Coordinate with project team members and clients.

Competencies-What We Are Looking For
  • 2-4 years relevant experience and possess a BS in Civil Engineering.
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
  • Experience with site civil engineering, grading, stormwater design, and pipe layout is desired.
  • Demonstrate strong quantitative and observational skills.
  • Solid attention to detail and technical understanding is required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills combined with the flexibility to work with shifting priorities.
  • Client-service orientation with the ability to anticipate needs and deliver to meet expectations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work well as a team member, with a collaborative communication style.

Position Type-What You Should Know
  • Full-time position.
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday with flexible daily hours.
  • Hybrid position with 2 - 3 days in the office.
  • Located in the Denver, CO area.
  • Must reside in the United States.
Pay
  • The salary range for this position is $76k to $85k/year and is commensurate with experience.
Supplemental Pay
  • Annual bonus is based on individual and company performance.
