Immediate Openings for Caregivers

Preferred Care at Home of North Westchester & Putnam is recruiting caregivers to join our team in Bedford Hills, NY and surrounding areas. We provide care to older adults in the comfort of their own home.

Many seniors are home alone feeling isolated. Many do not have family or friends nearby who can help them with every day tasks. Use your certification to care for seniors in our community. Certification is preferred but not required for all positions.

Some of the tasks required of a Caregiver:
  • Companionship
  • Medication reminders
  • Grooming reminders and assistance
  • Preparing and cooking meals
  • Light housekeeping, general clean-up, and laundry
  • Shopping and errands
  • Transport and escort to doctor appointments, etc.

We are recruiting for cases located in Westchester & Putnam, NY

We are looking for individuals who are RESPONSIBLE, RESPECTFUL, RELIABLE, EXPERIENCED, and PUNCTUAL. If you have these qualities and you truly enjoy helping those in our community, please apply.

DRIVERS ARE NEEDED, but not required for all positions.

Qualifications:
  • HHA Home Health Aide
  • CNA Certified Nurses Assistant
  • PCA Personal Care Aide
  • Preferred to have certificate but not required to all cases
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:
  • 4 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • On call
  • Weekend availability
Experience:
  • Caregiving: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
  • Driver's (Preferred)
