Job Description:
  • Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.
  • Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.
  • Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.
  • Analyzing and interpreting electrical, electromechanical, and cable schematics during development and production stages.
  • Updating and creating assembly work instructions for efficient assembly based on the drawings and/or models.
  • Identifies and maintains tool lists required for the efficient assembly of the given products.
  • Investigates technical problems and provides guidance in support of manufacturing operators to facilitate assembly performance.
  • Supports the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the manufacturing process.
