Location: Savannah, Georgia Employment Type: Full-time, Direct Hire Opportunity STS Technical Services is hiring an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our client’s growing team in Savannah, Georgia. This is an immediate opportunity for a detail-oriented, highly organized individual with strong financial acumen and AR experience. If you have intermediate Excel skills, enjoy working with numbers, and can manage complex spreadsheets with accuracy and efficiency, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities: Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy of payments and postings Prepare and distribute customer invoices on schedule Conduct follow-up calls and emails regarding outstanding receivables Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment disputes Prepare monthly aging reports and provide AR status updates to management Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address account concerns Maintain accurate records of customer communications and payment activity Support month-end closing processes and financial reporting tasks Review accounts for past due balances and short-paid invoices Ensure all required documentation is submitted for successful payment processing Escalate complex or uncollectible account issues as needed Run and analyze AR aging reports regularly to maintain financial health Required Skills & Abilities: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems preferred Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational habits Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently Professional phone and email communication etiquette Experience in collections is highly preferred Education & Experience: Associate degree in General Accounting (preferred) At least 1 year of accounts receivable or financial operations experience (preferred) Strong written and verbal communication skills for both internal and external interactions Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting Additional Information: This job description provides a general overview of the role and may evolve over time to meet operational needs.
