About the Opportunity:Join our client, a leading force in the aerospace industry specializing in the design and manufacturing of aircraft windows, aerostructure assemblies, and composite parts. As an Aircraft Technician / A&P Mechanic, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining the airworthiness and quality of aircraft windows. You'll have the chance to apply your mechanical skills in a dynamic environment while forming strong client relationships and contributing to the company's growth in a vibrant aerospace market. *What You'll DoAircraft Maintenance and Repair:Remove existing windows, prep, and install new ones.Address scratches, pits, and damage using orbital sanders.Ensure high standards of airworthiness.Customer Engagement:Respond to emergency AOG services.Foster client relationships through daily interactions.Manage airworthiness documentation and billing processes.Administrative and Operational Duties:Maintain parts traceability and sign off on work orders.Conduct weekly expense reporting.Keep workspace organized and adhere to company policies.Sales and Business Development:Expand the regional market for window services.Work closely with customers to schedule services.Secure purchase orders. Qualifications: Education and Experience:High School Diploma or GED required.Preferably one year of experience in orbital sanding, auto body, or aircraft maintenance.A&P License or AMT Certificate is advantageous.Previous sales experience is a plus.Technical Skills:Proficient in using measuring devices, reading blueprints, and technical manuals.Strong mechanical aptitude.Excellent problem-solving abilities.Physical Demands:Able to stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 70 pounds for prolonged periods.Comfortable working on ladders, aircraft wings, and cockpits.
