Job Description: City/StateVirginia Beach, VA Overview Work ShiftThird (Nights) (United States of America) Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as Licensed Behavorial Health Therapist. Position Status: Full-time, Night Shift, Weekends Position Location: Remote in Virginia Only Standard Working Hours: 5 days a week (11pm - 7am), 3 days a week (7pm - 7am), OR 4 days a week (9p - 7a). Weekend work is required. Minimum Requirements: Master's Level Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field Required Currently licensed in the state of Virginia as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Required Current HS AED Certification Required Preference for certification in Addiction, Screening Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT), Eye Movement Desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Job Description Summary The Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist provides individual, group, and/or family therapy; provides staff consultation/supervision, and education. Responsible for the provision of social work/counseling services to patients receiving care in the inpatient and outpatient behavioral health setting. Assesses the social, psychological, cultural, environmental, and financial situation, as well as disposition needs, for each assigned patient. Collaborates with patients, families, healthcare team members, and community agencies to develop and implement plans to address identified needs. Evaluates effectiveness of plans and initiates change as needed.
