As an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) you will assist the Occupational Therapists to help patients regain functional independence. Attention to detail, individualized care, and participation in a team approach are part of every interaction. We are offering leading benefits * Comprehensive health insurance - medical, dental and vision * 401K with matching funds * DailyPay (https://www.dailypay.com/employee) , a voluntary benefit that allows associates at our facilities the ability to access their pay when they need it. * Paid time off (beginning after six months of employment) and paid holidays * Flexible scheduling * Tuition reimbursement and student loan forgiveness Responsibilites * Performs treatments as directed by the Occupational Therapist, and document treatments in the medical record. * Supervise the direct patient care activities of the Rehab Aids * Coordinate patient care with members of other departments and staff within the Rehab Services Department. * Participates in resident care conferences, Restorative Team meetings, and Interdisciplinary Team meetings as appropriate. * Participates in in-service training programs for other staff in the facility. Qualifications * Graduate of an approved OTA program * Current OTA license * Long term care experience preferred.
