What the HR/Payroll Clerk will do: Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes. Stay up to date with labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies to ensure compliance. Maintain and update employee information, including pay rates, benefits, and tax forms. Assist with benefits enrollment, payroll deductions, and employee inquiries related to health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits. Monitor timecards, leave balances, and overtime to ensure proper compensation. Generate payroll reports, reconcile discrepancies, and provide data for audits or financial reviews. Assist with onboarding, employee relations, and other HR tasks as needed. Work with payroll and HRIS (Human Resource Information System) software for efficient record-keeping and processing. What Our Client is looking for in a HR/Payroll Clerk: High attention to detail and accuracy in processing payroll and handling confidential data. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot payroll discrepancies. Excellent communication and customer service skills to assist employees with payroll and HR inquiries.
