Why We Need Your Talents:
The facilities supervisor is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repair of the buildings, grounds, and associated equipment and structures. They work with the management team to oversee maintenance staff, contractors and vendors.
Compensation: $30.00-$35.00
Shift needed :Swing/Overnight
Responsibilities:Where You'll Make an Impact:
- Responsible for scheduling and coordinating preventative maintenance and regulatory inspections
- Coach maintenance staff to develop skills for team member development.
- Operates the central utility plant which includes duel-fuel boilers, centrifugal chillers, medium voltage switchgear and diesel generators.
- Coordinates small projects scheduling with other departments and vendors as needed.
- Regularly performs inspections to identify areas of need and addresses them with team members.
- Track material and parts stock.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills to Help You Succeed:
- Knowledge of Casino operations.
- Outstanding guest service skills.
- Ability to manage subordinate team members and interact and develop outstanding working relationships with members of the Casino departments / restaurant outlets and the Executive Team.
- Must be able to use a 10-key adding machine, fax, scanner and be proficient with Microsoft Office and department specific programs.
- Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results
Qualifications:
Must-Haves:
- Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience:
- Three (3) years experience in leading or supervising facility maintenance staff.
- Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to:
- Stand or sit for long periods of time.
- Use hands and fingers to handle, feel and reach.
- Use legs and feet to balance, stoop, kneel or crouch.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. and infrequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
- Use of stairs and elevators
