Founded in 1972, Childrens Services of Roxbury (CSR) is the largest Blackowned and operated nonprofit in the region. Our mission is to provide highquality services to economically disadvantaged children, youth, families, and individuals, thereby promoting and strengthening family life and individual growth. CSR serves approximately 6,000 families across Massachusetts through four key service areas: Early Education and Care, Behavioral Health Services, Youth and Family Services, and Housing and Stabilization. With 22 programs, CSR serves residents throughout the Commonwealthincluding Greater Springfield, Holyoke, Worcester, Lowell, Lawrence, and surrounding communitiesas well as a Roxburybased program serving Greater Boston residents.

Our Behavioral Health Department (BHD) offers a comprehensive array of highquality, culturallysensitive mental health services that provide children and families with the support they need for success at home, in school, and in the community.
Family support and training is a service provided to the parent/caregiver of a youth (under the age of 21) in any setting where the youth resides, such as the home (including foster homes and therapeutic foster homes), and other community settings. The Family Partners purpose is to resolve or ameliorate the youths emotional and behavioral needs by improving the parents capacity to parent, thereby enhancing the youths functioning as identified in the outpatient or inhome therapy treatment plan or Individual Care Plan (ICP). This is a fulltime role located at our Roxbury site requiring 40 hours per week and the ability to travel to multiple locations.
Engage the parent/caregiver in learning how to network and access community resources and services, including how to connect with treatment providers.
Advocate for and access resources to address the youths emotional and behavioral needs.
Work closely with the family and any existing/referring behavioral health providers to ensure implementation of the objectives and goals identified in the treatment plan.
Participate in all care planning meetings and processes for the youth.
to support services/care planning and coordination on behalf of and with the youth and parent/caregiver.
Coordinate and attend all Care Planning Team meetings and treatment team meetings.
Report weekly to the Senior Family Partner and keep the supervisor updated on all cases.
Complete all necessary paperwork and data entry assignments in a timely manner.
Experience as a caregiver of a youth with special needs and preferably mental health needs. (Family caregiver refers to any biological, kinship, foster, and/or adoptive family/caregiver responsible for the care of a youth).
Experience navigating any child and familyserving systems and teaching family members who are involved with those systems.
Ability to appropriately use personal experience in navigating medical/mental health systems.
Must have exceptional writing and communication skills.
Bachelors degree in a human services field from an accredited university and one (1) year of experience working with the target population, OR
Associates degree in a Human Service field from an accredited school and one (1) year of experience working with children/adolescents/transitionage youth, OR
High school diploma or GED and a minimum of two (2) years experience working with children/adolescents/transitionage youth.
Provide culturally competent services to ensure recognition of economic status, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, race, language, and the unique values and goals for each youth and family.
Family Partners are integral members of the Intensive Care Team.
Provide services in the primary language of the youth and caregiver families served.
Incumbent should be creative, flexible, and personable.
