The Quanta Manufacturing Fremont (QMF) Network Engineering team is responsible for architecting, building, automating, and managing our Network Infrastructure at our campus in Fremont, CA and our public cloud providers. As a Network Engineer, you will work with talented colleagues on challenging projects within the IT Infrastructure. You'll bring a proactive approach to network management and support, addressing both immediate operational requirements and long-term network stability. Youll enjoy this team if you like working in a highly collaborative environment focused on being entrepreneurial, agile, and responsive. Implement, and maintain various network infrastructures, focusing on scalability, reliability, and security.
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
Monitor network performance, ensure system availability and reliability, and provide network optimization recommendations.
Troubleshoot network problems, outages, and ensure rapid resolution of network incidents.
Work with the latest network management tools
Establish & maintain a strong relationship with the business including local, remote, and regional users regarding network technology solutions.
Document network configuration and operational procedures.
Be viewed as a knowledgeable and reliable technical resource across all network technologies.
Manage and support Public Clouds associated security and network services like PAN, Firewall, etc.
4+ years extensive network engineering, with experience in implementing and managing enterprise (Data center/Public Clouds) at scale using industry standard networking solutions.
~ Understanding of Enterprise Network design, including Data Center, Campus, Public Cloud, and Global WAN connectivity.
~ Proficient in Azure Public Cloud platforms.
~ Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access, Global Protect, and Virtual Firewall
~4+ Years experience with Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto Networks and/or Fortinet technology


Minimum 4-year college degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent discipline.
CCNA Certification
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
