Financial Analyst, Research Financial Planning

Overview: The Financial Planning Associate is a key member of our Financial Planning team, responsible for supporting financial advisors in delivering a high-quality, personalized planning experience to clients. Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning, this individual will collaborate closely with experienced advisors and planners across assigned market locations. The role includes preparing comprehensive financial plans, assisting with strategy implementation, supporting client reviews, and managing financial planning technology platforms.
This position is ideal for a motivated professional who is analytical, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about helping clients achieve their financial goals.
Collaborate with financial advisors to prepare customized, holistic financial plans and client reports.
Support the implementation of financial planning recommendations including retirement, education, tax, estate, and risk management strategies.
Serve as the subject matter expert for financial planning software platforms including eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, Holistiplan, Nitrogen (formerly Riskalyze), and .
Manage client data entry, updates, and scenario analysis within planning software tools.
Provide outstanding service and follow-up to clients throughout the financial planning process.
Stay up to date on regulatory changes, financial planning strategies, and industry trends.
Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold high ethical standards in handling sensitive client data.
Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in the financial services industry, with direct exposure to financial planning preferred.
Proficiency in financial planning platforms: eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, Holistiplan, Nitrogen, and strongly preferred.
Charles Schwab) and technology platforms (e.g., Orion, Salesforce, Google Workspace) is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
