Investment Director, Intermediary Channel (Growth Equity Strategies) We are seeking an Investment Director to join Loomis, Sayles & Company, a leading active asset management firm that manages approximately $413billion in assets (as of 30June2025). The role will focus on driving business development for our Growth Equity Strategies (GES) retail vehicles through collaboration with external wholesalers and our internal sales desk. About The Role The Investment Director (GES) will act as the liaison for U.S. wholesale/retail distribution and provide subjectmatter expertise for Loomis, Sayles GES initiatives. You will develop and execute marketing and training plans, support sales teams, and maintain an uptodate understanding of competitive positioning. Job Responsibilities Develop a deep knowledge of the GES investment philosophy, portfolio holdings, performance attribution, and risk attributes. Represent GES products in prospect/client meetings and calls, collaborating with distribution sales teams. Provide sales teams with detailed information on product positioning, portfolio holdings, historical performance, attribution, and competitive landscape. Increase awareness and understanding of GES products through ongoing training by designing and delivering training to internal and external distribution partner departments. Work with the broader GES product management and distribution partner teams to develop business development plans with measurable, trackable objectives. Based on infield intelligence, define and develop infield marketing support materials that differentiate GES offerings relative to competitors. Stay abreast of key competitor performance and flows, competitor pricing, and evolving product vehicles and structures. Coordinate and help provide responses to adhoc questions, commentary, and performance inquiries from the field. Serve as an expert source on product structure, fees, and operational specifics for vehicles offered through distribution channels and partners. Develop a comprehensive, uptodate understanding of U.S. distribution partner organizations to facilitate ongoing management and planning of GES business development. Qualifications & Education Requirements Bachelors degree (MBA preferred). CFA charter required. 10+ years of financial services experience. Deep knowledge of equity markets and investment products. Strong understanding of intermediary channel and business development. Excellent communication and writing skills. Strong interpersonal skills and a positive demeanor. Experience with investment analysis software (Morningstar, FactSet, Bloomberg, etc.) preferred. Ability to handle competing priorities. May travel 50%+.
