Purchasing Manager Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead and optimize their purchasing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing environments, international sourcing, and end-to-end procurement processes. This role requires strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of materials and services.
Key Responsibilities for Purchasing Manager:
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
Manage the full procurement cycle, from supplier identification and negotiation to contract management and performance evaluation.
Source and maintain relationships with international suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards.
Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and finance teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
Monitor market trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and mitigate supply chain risks.
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards in all purchasing activities.
Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to achieve departmental goals.
Qualifications for Purchasing Manager:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
8 years of progressive experience in purchasing/procurement , including leadership roles.

Hands-on experience managing procurement processes from top to bottom.
Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
