**Summary**

The **Fire Alarm System Apprentice** is responsible for assisting the Fire Alarm System Lead technician with the installation of fire alarm wire and devices.

**Responsibilities**

+ Works under the direction of the Lead Technician.

+ Assist with wire install and verifying wire is free of shorts or grounds.

+ Assist with the installation of Fire Alarm devices.

+ Assist with pre-testing the Fire Alarm System prior to final inspection.

+ Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**

_Minimum Qualifications:_ (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

+ High school diploma or GED preferred.

+ Fire Alarm experience preferred but not required.

+ Valid drivers license.

_Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_

+ Knowledge of fire alarm systems preferred but not required.
