The Role: Senior Vice President (Houston) The firm is seeking a senior executive to lead its established healthcare practice across the West Coast. This position will be located out of their Houston, TX office. This is a true seller-doer position: the Senior Vice President will be responsible for engaging directly in the market, building and strengthening client relationships, winning new work, and directing teams on major healthcare projects. In addition, this leader will help grow and guide multidisciplinary teams dedicated to addressing the most complex challenges faced by healthcare clients. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement market strategy in partnership with regional leadership Lead business development initiatives to expand work with existing clients and break into new accounts Mentor and support team members, including involvement in promotions, reviews, and performance management Oversee profit and loss performance across assigned projects Serve as Senior Vice President in Charge on major healthcare projects, representing the firm, setting the technical approach, and ensuring quality delivery and commercial success Culture and Impact Team members are encouraged to bring their individuality to a collective environment built on collaboration, diverse perspectives, and shared purpose. Ideal Candidate Profile 15+ years of experience in U.S. healthcare engineering consulting Professional Engineering license Proven track record managing large-scale building projects Experience designing acute inpatient hospital facilities Background in mechanical or electrical engineering Compensation & Rewards The organization offers competitive and equitable pay, along with a comprehensive rewards package that supports professional growth, health, wellbeing, and long-term success. Base Salary: $250,000 - $320,000 Flexible Work Hybrid and alternative work arrangements support work–life balance, inclusivity, and individual needs.
