The primary role of the Practice is to drive commercial growth, build and deepen Bains expertise, and continually innovate to ensure Bain is best positioned to solve clients most pressing challenges. The Director of Product Management is part of the leadership team of the Accelerated Performance Transformation Solution and leads a crossfunctional team in building AI / tech products, collaborating closely with Vector, the Core Innovation Team, among others.
Stay on top of industry and technology trends and the competitor ecosystem, balancing what's possible with what serves the Solution vision and maintaining a PoV on build / buy / partner
Test + learn with Lighthouse clients (leveraging insights to generate IP and data assets)
Deliver crossproduct strategic initiatives, managing interdependencies, and ensuring modularity, shared approaches and data reporting progress and outcomes to senior leadership
Draft business plans that demonstrate compelling value proposition and ROI to secure internal funding
Ensure consistency with firmwide best practices and policies related to data governance and infrastructure
Share and leverage best practices (process, data, tools, and otherwise) across Bain, avoiding siloed problem solving

AI product management experience
~ Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, technology, or a relevant field
~46 years of product management experience, ideally dealing with ERP and other operational data & developing advanced analytics products
~ FinOps, data governance, DR) across AI and analytics products
~ Demonstrated experience working with diverse technology stacks and data architectures e.g., cloudnative environments (AWS, Azure), relational and NoSQL databases (such as Snowflake or PostgreSQL), and APIbased integration frameworks with handson ability to work with analytical or scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL) and translate technical tradeoffs into product and business implications
~ Experience building products related to the Performance Improvement Practice
~ Experience building with LLMs or other AI tools

Ability to structure and lead complex business research and analysis in fastpaced environment, as well as the skills to drive to pragmatic business insights
Experience working closely with internal and external users to deeply understand, document, analyze, and synthesize user needs into product priorities, roadmap plans, and detailed specifications
Facility / aptitude with agile product development lifecycle for digital technologies
Proven track record of building successful AI / tech products from ideation to product / market fit and scaling
Relevant experience or interest in digital solutions as a lever to drive business results
Personal passion and excitement to learn new technologies, market trends and how AI will change the Accelerated Performance Transformation Solution and more broadly, the Performance Improvement Practice
Exceptional communication skills that enable building crossfunctional relationships and managing projects across multiple teams; experience and proficiency creating high quality presentations
Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills with a proven track record of being a selfstarter (comfortable with what could be a remote supervisor and team)

Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution based on years of service, and Bains bestinclass benefits package (details listed below).
Some local governments in the United States require a goodfaith, reasonable salary range to be included in job postings for open roles. In Texas, the goodfaith, reasonable annualized fulltime salary range for this role is between ($182,000-219,500) .
In Boston, Washington DC and Washington State, the goodfaith, reasonable annualized fulltime salary range for this role is between ($199,500-240,500) .
In Atlanta, the goodfaith, reasonable annualized fulltime salary range for this role is between ($173,500-209,000) .
In Chicago, the goodfaith, reasonable annualized fulltime salary range for this role is between ($191,00-230,000) .
In Los Angeles, CA, the goodfaith, reasonable annualized fulltime salary range for this role is between ($199,500-240,500) .
In New York City, San Francisco and Silicon Valley CA, the goodfaith, reasonable annualized fulltime salary range for this role is between ($217,000-261,500) .
Placement within each range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, certifications, training, and skill level.
