Job Title: Specialty Claims Examiner Location: Austin, TX Schedule: 9am-6:30pm Pay: $21/hour Summary The Specialty Claims Examiner processes and adjudicates GAP and Anti-Theft claims with accuracy and efficiency. This role involves reviewing documentation, communicating with customers and partners, and ensuring claims are handled in accordance with policies and guidelines. Key Responsibilities Review loan, insurance, and contract documents to confirm eligibility. Process claims submitted via phone, email, and chat. Document all claim-related interactions in the system. Provide updates on open and pending claims. Manage an assigned queue to ensure timely resolution. Interpret insurance and dealership documents, including payment histories. Maintain product knowledge and deliver strong customer service. Perform administrative tasks and support projects as needed. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of claims experience in a call center or insurance environment. Knowledge of GAP and Anti-Theft claims. Strong communication, critical thinking, and contract-reading abilities. Ability to handle high contact volume (40+ daily calls/emails/chats). Preferred Claims Adjuster License. Prior insurance industry experience.
