Description BlueHalo, an AV company, designs, develops, and manufactures the Titan Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS), which provides real-time, non-kinetic protection for people, property, and critical infrastructure. We are seeking a motivated and creative Media Designer to support day-to-day graphic design and production functions. This position will focus on multi-format user, product, and corporate documentation, including design, layout, and formatting of materials, photography, and management of the graphic asset library. The ideal candidate will bring strong design skills, attention to detail, and an ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams to produce professional, high-impact visual communications. Primary Responsibilities: Develop a deep understanding of product capabilities, customer requirements, and end-user needs. Design and produce materials based on specific technical and marketing requirements. Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback to refine deliverables. Apply design principles and human-computer interaction (HCI) concepts to optimize user experience. Manage multiple projects and deliverables to meet deadlines and quality standards. Ensure consistency and accuracy across all materials and maintain best practices for asset organization, storage, and reuse. Coordinate with vendors as needed and ensure adherence to branding and production standards. Protect and maintain confidentiality of company intellectual property and assets. Work Location and Schedule: This position is based onsite at the BlueHalo / AV Titan office in San Diego, California, and follows a standard Monday through Friday, regular business hours schedule. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline. 1-3 years of relevant experience as a creative professional in a design or production environment. Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator). Experience using collaborative design tools such as Figma. Working knowledge of prepress formatting, print layout, and publishing standards. Strong attention to detail, proofreading, and quality assurance skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, InVision, HTML, CSS, and related tools. Strong understanding of design principles including color, typography, proportion, and layout. Experience in pre-production visualization, wireframing, and user-centered design. Knowledge of prepress and print production processes. Demonstrated ability to gather and apply feedback from diverse stakeholders.
