Nutra-Med Packaging | Pharmaceutical Packaging Excellence Senior Production Planner Location: Whippany, NJ Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for optimizing production workflows in a regulated environment? Nutra-Med Packaging is seeking a Senior Production Planner to lead planning and scheduling operations in our fast-paced pharmaceutical packaging facility. This is a high-impact role where you'll drive efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate across departments to meet customer demand with precision and consistency. What You'll Do: Develop and manage production schedules based on demand, inventory, and capacity Partner with procurement, production, quality, and warehouse teams to align resources and timelines Adjust work orders in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) to reflect real-time changes Analyze data to improve throughput and resource utilization Resolve scheduling conflicts and proactively mitigate risks Present planning insights to senior leadership Ensure all activities meet GMP, FDA, and regulatory standards Mentor junior planners and support continuous improvement initiatives What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field 5–7 years of experience in production planning, ideally in pharma or regulated manufacturing Advanced ERP and Excel skills; NetSuite experience a plus Strong understanding of inventory control, quality assurance, and cGMP compliance Excellent communication and leadership skills with a collaborative mindset Why Nutra-Med?
