Bridge Engineer – Elmira, NY
A growing civil and structural engineering consultancy is seeking a Bridge Engineer to join its Elmira office. This role offers the chance to work on impactful state DOT and municipal bridge projects , with opportunities to contribute to all phases of design and collaborate closely with senior technical leaders.

Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing of bridge and transportation structures
Support delivery of projects for state DOTs and local government clients
Collaborate with senior bridge engineers and multidisciplinary project teams
Contribute to project documentation and reporting throughout the design lifecycle

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (structural concentration preferred)
~ Proficiency with structural software and design platforms (e.g., MicroStation, OpenBridge Modeler, AASHTOWare, AutoCAD, MathCAD )
~ Familiarity with reinforced concrete and steel design
~ Experience working on DOT and local government projects strongly preferred
~ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
